Extraction Arms – Capture fumes and dust directly at the source
Extraction arms provide flexible, targeted capture of welding fumes, fine dust and other airborne contaminants directly where they are generated. They are ideal for industrial workstations where precise positioning and easy handling are essential.
What are extraction arms and when should you use them?
Extraction arms are designed to capture airborne contaminants as close as possible to the source before they spread into the surrounding workspace. They are commonly used for welding fumes, micro dust, vapours and other hot contaminants generated at individual workstations. The adjustable arm allows the operator to position the extraction hood exactly where it is needed while keeping the working area accessible. Tehno Filter extraction arms can be connected either to a dedicated extraction unit or to a central ducting system, making them suitable for both individual and multiple workstation installations.
Why source extraction?
Capturing contaminants directly at the point of generation reduces the amount of polluted air that needs to be treated throughout the entire workspace. A well-positioned extraction arm can therefore provide effective local capture while requiring less airflow than general room ventilation.
