ABOUT SILOS
What are industrial silos and when should you use them?
Industrial silos are large storage structures designed to hold significant quantities of bulk material under controlled conditions. They are commonly used for sawdust, wood shavings, chips, pellets, granules and similar process materials that need to be collected, stored and discharged in an organised way. The silo configuration is selected according to the characteristics of the stored material, required volume, available space and downstream handling system.
What determines the right silo design?
Several factors influence the design of the storage system, including: material type and particle size, storage volume, bulk density, moisture content, stickiness, material acidity.

INDUSTRIAL STORAGE SILO
FS
FS is an industrial storage silo designed for bulk materials such as sawdust, shavings, wood chips, pellets and granules. The silo can be configured in different capacities and structural shapes depending on storage requirements and the characteristics of the material being handled. For systems where material is pneumatically conveyed into the silo, a self-cleaning bag filtration unit can be installed at the top to separate the transport air from the stored material.
