Grinding Tables – Capture dust directly where the work happens

Grinding tables combine a stable working surface with integrated extraction to capture dust, fumes and coarse particles directly at the workstation. They are a practical solution for grinding, sanding, deburring and similar processes where contaminants are generated close to the operator.

ABOUT GRINDING TABLES

What are grinding tables and when should you use them?

Grinding tables are workstations with integrated extraction designed to capture dust and airborne contaminants directly where grinding, sanding, deburring or similar work takes place. The contaminated air is drawn downward or toward the rear extraction section before dust can spread into the surrounding production area. They are particularly useful for manual processing operations where the workpiece remains on the table and source extraction needs to follow the entire working surface.

Why extract directly at the table?

Capturing dust at the workstation reduces the amount of airborne particulate that spreads through the production hall and limits the load placed on general room ventilation. It also keeps the working area cleaner and allows the extraction system to focus airflow exactly where contaminants are generated.

PRODUCT

Grinding tables in our range

Two product families cover metalworking and woodworking applications with different dust characteristics and process requirements.

METALWORKING GRINDING TABLE

TFG

TFG is an industrial grinding table designed for welding, grinding and deburring of metal components. The table captures fumes and dust directly at the workstation and can be connected to a fan or central extraction system. A stable steel housing, generous working area and removable coarse-dust collection make it suitable for demanding workshop use.

WOODWORKING GRINDING TABLE

OBS

OBS is a grinding and sanding table developed primarily for woodworking applications. It is connected to an extraction and filtration unit so that dust generated during sanding and other surface-processing operations is captured directly from the working area and transported to the filtration system.

APPLICATIONS

Where grinding tables are used

Grinding tables are particularly useful for manual processes where dust and particles are generated across a defined working surface.

METAL GRINDING

Direct extraction of fine and coarse particulate generated during manual metal grinding.

DEBURRING

Capture of dust and chips produced while removing burrs and finishing metal components.

WELDING

TFG can also be used as a working table for welding applications where local extraction is required.

WOOD SANDING

OBS provides direct extraction for sanding and surface preparation in woodworking environments.

PLASTIC PROCESSING

TFG is also described for applications involving plastic dust and chipped plastics.

MANUAL WORKSTATIONS

Suitable wherever operators perform dust-generating manual work on a fixed table and need extraction directly at the process.

Work surface and extraction in one solution

DIRECT SOURCE CAPTURE

Extraction is integrated into the table so contaminants are captured close to where they are generated.

ROBUST CONSTRUCTION

TFG uses a stable steel plate housing designed for demanding workshop conditions.

EASY MATERIAL COLLECTION

Integrated drawers allow larger particles and coarse material to be collected and removed without complicated servicing.

SYSTEM INTEGRATION

Grinding tables can be integrated with fans, filter units or central extraction systems depending on the application.
