ATEX dust extraction system for feed production

Challenge

Feed production generates significant amounts of airborne dust during material handling, processing and transfer operations. In facilities where combustible dust may be present, effective extraction must be combined with appropriate explosion protection measures.

The system therefore needed to provide reliable dust removal while meeting the requirements of an ATEX-classified production environment.

Solution

Tehno Filter developed a custom dust extraction system based on MFK filtration technology and an 11 kW high-efficiency motor.

The system was engineered around the operating conditions of the feed production process, providing controlled extraction while maintaining reliable filtration performance.

Because the installation operates in an environment with potential explosive atmospheres, the system was designed and executed in accordance with the applicable ATEX requirements.
